PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a second material in better efficiency than conventional threshing machines in order to solve problems in which a conventional second material-treating apparatus has large feed resistance of a second material and has inclination causing clogging therefore and formation of single grains was insufficient, though there are unhulled rice having rachis-branch and unhulled rice having hook-branch in materials to be treated threshed in a threshing chamber of a threshing machine loaded on a combine harvester and a harvester and those are treated again as the second materials to promote formation of single grains. SOLUTION: In the threshing machine in which a second treating chamber for treating a second material is provided on one side of a threshing chamber, a transferring resistance plate 5 approaching a stirring carrier 4 arranged in a standing condition in the outer periphery of a second treating cylinder supported on a shaft in the second treating chamber and forming a resistant surface 6 having a sweepback angleθto the transfer direction A is installed on an inner wall of the second treating chamber in a state adequately inclined to the axial direction of the second treating cylinder.
