PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method with relevant conventional technology as the background, for affording good quantitativeness, a method for avoiding an effect to other measurement items due to a measuring reagent for measuring substance(s) with clinical significance in body fluid, especially blood or urine such as electrolyte(s) like calcium ion and/or chlorine ion utilizing an enzyme subject to activation or deactivation by the substance(s). SOLUTION: The measuring method, a method for reducing the effect to measurement items other than an object measurement, involves utilizing the enzyme subject to activation or deactivation by object substance(s) in a specimen. This method is characterized by involving a substance except a protein that does not substantially bind to the object substance(s) and a substance except a protein that substantially binds to the object substance(s).
