<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell unit capable of executing stable operation for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: An operating time, a power generation amount, and a number of times of start-up/stop of each power generating module A-E are respectively accumulatively counted for each power generating module A-E in a controller 8. The operating time, the power generation amount, and a number of times of the start-up/stop of each power generating module A-E are stored in a memory (a storage means) as operational information. When starting up the fuel cell unit 3 from a stop state, the controller 8 starts up the power generating module with a minimum operating time while referring to the operational information of each of power generating modules A-E. When there are a plurality of the power generating modules with equal operating time, the power generating module with a much smaller number of times of the start-up/stop is preferentially started up. When there are a plurality of the power generating modules with equal operating time and an equal number of times of the start-up/stop, the power generating module is started up with a much smaller power generation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
