<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump device and its control method in a fuel cell system capable of supplying a proper quantity of water (steam) required from the fuel cell device side to a reformer. <P>SOLUTION: This pump device is composed of a pump means 16 supplying water to the reformer 7, a driving means 12 driving the pump means 16 and a control means 18 controlling the driving means 12. This control means 18 has a storage means for storing a functional expression for regulating an actual delivery quantity from the pump means 16 to a control input value to the driving means 12, and controls driving of the driving means 12 on the basis of the functional expression. Here, a factor and a constant of this functional expression are measured with respective pump devices, and are set on the basis of this measuring result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
