<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injector which can simplify and save space of a commonrail type fuel injection system. <P>SOLUTION: An injector 20 for a fuel injection system comprises an injector housing 18 which extends along an axis 45 and which surrounds an internal high-pressure space 23 for the reception of fuel which is under high pressure, at the lower end of the injector housing 18 an injection valve 22 which is connected to the high-pressure space 23, and nozzle needles 21, 26 which run through the high-pressure space 23 in the axial direction and which can be actuated hydraulically by means of an actuator mechanism 19 arranged at the upper end of the injector housing 18 and opens or closes the injection valve 22, depending on the axial position. In the injector 20, at least two separation high pressure connecting parts 24, 25 are provided in the injector housing 18, and communication from the outside to the high pressure space 23 is made possible. The connecting parts 24, 25 are designed for junction of a high pressure line each time, and the injectors are sequentially arranged in the high pressure line so that the high pressure line passes through the high pressure space of each injector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
