<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging method which forms a feathering-free image regardless of the kind of cloth, using an active ray-curable ink containing a cationic polymerizable compound with low odor level and high curing sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: This imaging method forms an image in an absorptive base material, using the active ray-curable ink which contains a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator.
