<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which both insertion characteristics of a cable into the connector and a retaining force of the cable after insertion can be made compatible. <P>SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a connector body in which the cable in which a locked part has been formed is inserted and removed, a contact electrically connected to the connector, a retaining part and an arm extending in the insertion and removal direction of the cable, and a flexible part to connect the retaining part and the arm, and a cable retaining member in which a locking part protruding to the retaining part side is installed at the arm and which is retained in the connector body, and an operator which is provided with a cam contacting with the arm and rotatably retained to the connector body. By rotating the operator, the flexible part is elastically deformed by an action of the cam, and the locking part is inserted into the locked part of the cable inserted into the connector body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
