PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolator which does not impart load to environment and has good hysteresis dependence and temperature dependence and has high seismic isolation property. SOLUTION: A plural number of elastically deformable rubber rings 18 and metallic rings 20 for maintaining rigidity are alternately arranged to form an outer integrated body 16. A rubber material constituting the rubber ring 18 is a rubber material with higher damping property than that of an ordinary rubber material formed only of natural rubber. A coil spring 22 of a vibration damping alloy which is formed into a shape of an elastically deformable spiral coil spring of a wire 22A that is made from a twin crystal metallic material is arranged to be fitted in a cylindrical hollow part 24 which exists in a center of the outer integrated body 16.
