PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining tool support device capable of achieving smooth vertical movement of a machining tool corresponding to a shape of a workpiece and progress of machining. SOLUTION: The machining tool support device is provided with a movable part 6 mounted with the machining tool, a fixed part 5 mounted to a mounting part of a machining device and supporting the movable part 6 vertically movably, and a support coil spring 7 bent by receiving gravity of the movable part 6 and a pressing coil spring 8 bent by receiving machining reaction force from the workpiece W which are interposed between the movable part 6 and the fixed part 5. A plurality of the support coil springs 7 are arranged to the front part and the rear part across a mounting part 10 of the machining tool respectively in the movable part 6. A plurality of the pressing coil springs 8 are arranged to the front part and the rear part across the mounting part 10 of the machining tool respectively in the movable part 6, and at least either of the support coil spring 7 itself and initial bending of the support coil spring 7 is constituted so as to be changeable.
