PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure durability regardless of a variation in crowning shapes accompanied by mass production. SOLUTION: The generator shape of a crowning is regulated as follows. At both ends of a rolling surface 9c in an axial direction, first to third reference positions G1 to G3 are set from a center in the axial direction to the outside in the axial direction in this order. Then, crowning quantities of the first to the third reference positions G1 to G3 are regulated in ranges indicated by arrowsα,βandγ. In addition, the inclination of the rolling surface 9c between the first and the second reference positions G1, G2 and the inclination of the rolling surface 9c between the second and the third reference positions G2, G3 are regulated within a range where the surface pressure of the second reference position G2 does not exceed its allowance.
