PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation response of a valve element in shift from a valve open state to a valve close state in an electromagnetic type fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: This valve is provided with the valve element 6 provided movably between a valve seat and a core cylinder, and seated on and separating from the valve seat, and an electromagnetic coil generating magnetic force moving the valve element 6 toward the core cylinder and separating the valve element 6. Resin film 7c is provided on at least one of each opposing surface 7b of the valve element 6 and the core cylinder. Consequently, generation of eddy current when excitation of an electromagnetic coil is stopped in shift from the valve open state to the valve close state can be suppressed.
