PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete block enabling stable vegetation against secular change, usable for many applications, and hard to become the cause of global warming. SOLUTION: A wood chip board 10 is formed by molding wood chips produced by cutting a timber material in a generally plate shape with a binder. A block body 20 is molded by distributing a concrete to the side face of the wood chip board 10, flowing it to the rear surface of the wood chip board 10 between the recesses and projections between the wood chips to adhesive them to each other, and forming in such a predetermined shape that a concrete surface is exposed to at least a part of the periphery of the wood chip board 10. Since the concrete is distributed to all the periphery or at least a part of the wood chip board 10, penetrated into hollows in the side faces and the rear face of the wood chip board 10, and firmly integrated, an adhesive force between them is strong, and the wood chip board 10 is not separated from the block body 20.
