PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold equipped with a vacuum suction function capable of transferring a dappled pattern to the surface of a molded product, and an inexpensive manufacturing method of the mold. SOLUTION: An embossed resin sheet 45 is bonded to an electroforming mold 44 and boring work is applied to both of them by a laser processing machine to dispense with a reversal mold for transferring the emboss pattern. As a result, mold equipment is simplified and cost reduction is achieved. Further, NC lathe machining or electric discharge machining is directly applied to a block-like mold material 130 having air permeability to manufacture an air permeable mold 48 and the embossed resin sheet 45 is bonded to the air permeable mold 48 to complete the manufacture of a mold whole 41A. Accordingly, the number of molds can be reduced, mold precision can be enhanced because of NC lathe machining or electric discharge machining, and design change becomes possible.
