PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of greatly arousing a player's expectation by notifying a win of a special role in an unprecedented and novel means. SOLUTION: This slot machine includes bet switches 32, 34 and 36 allocated with the number of bets of game media, a bet control means 400 setting the number of bets allocated to the bet switches 32, 34 and 36, bet number display lamps 24a-24e and valid line display parts 24a-24e executing displays based on the number of bets set by the bet control means 400, and a role lottery means 410 drawing a role lottery for determining a single role out of roles including special roles. When winning the special role in a previous game, the bet control means 400 executes a performance setting the number of bets different from the number of bets allocated to the bet switches 32, 34 and 36.
