PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, in a two-stage clothes dryer having a structure vertically superposing clothes dryers into two stages, a handle of a door of an upper-stage clothes dryer is in a high position, and a short-stature person finds it difficult to open/close the door, while a handle of a door in the lower-stage clothes dryer is in a low position, and a high-stature person finds it difficult to open/close the door. SOLUTION: The handle 14 of the door 12 of the upper-stage clothes dryer is disposed in a position across the door 12 in an opposite side of a shaft 13 and being lower than a horizontal S1 passing through a central point of the door 12. Also, the handle 24 of the door 22 of the lower-stage clothes dryer is disposed in a position across the door 22 in an opposite side of the shaft 23 and being higher than the horizontal S2 passing through the central point of the door 22.
