<p>The bread dough mixer, having a rotary bowl (27) and a kneading arm driven by a compact transmission assembly (17), has the latter fixed to a thick vertical supporting plate (18) that is hinged and connected to a hollow square or rectangular-section column (19). The column contains bearings, a gas-operated power cylinder and a locking pin that holds the head assembly in the kneading position by engaging with a flange associated with the supporting plate hinge. The rotary bowl is driven by a roller (28) coated with a supple material pressed against its outer surface and operated by a compact motor and reduction gear unit.</p> |
