#CMT# #/CMT# The device has an acoustic-optic material e.g. tellurium dioxide crystal, including one of prisms (P1, P2) and allowing acousto-optic interaction between an optical beam and an acoustic beam. An acoustic wave of the acoustic beam generates, in the prisms, an integrated deflective Bragg cell which diffracts, selectively in amplitude, wavelengths of the optical beam according to characteristics of the acoustic beam in order to generate non-diffracted optical waves and diffracted optical waves. The non-diffracted waves are programmed based on the optical wavelength by the interaction. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for dispersing light pulses of an optical beam (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The device allows modifying the relative amplitudes of the various wavelengths of the light pulses of the optical beam. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a schematic representation of an optical beam light pulse dispersing device. theta A : Prism base angle theta a : Acoustic energy beam`s inclination angle theta i : Incident beam angle theta 0 : Optical path angle lambda 0 - lambda 3 : Wavelengths Fi : Optical incident beam P1, P2 : Prisms Ta : Piezoelectric transducer.
|
