The mast ahs a rigid lower section (1) associated to a base (6) placed on the ground, and a rigid upper section (2) including an anchoring turret (8) for attaching or winding a cable (7) fixing and tensioning a cloth panel. The upper and lower sections are assembled to each other by an elastic flexion device (3) so as to align the sections when the upper section is bent by a tensile strength applied by the cable. The elastic flexion device includes a helical spring connecting the two sections, and a unit ensuring flexible connection of the sections.
