<p>PURPOSE: Notoginseng Radix extracts, Cucumis melo extract, Dendrobii Herba extracts, and a cosmetic composition containing more than one of extracts selected therefrom are provided, which show very strong melanogenic inhibiting effect, and gives skin-whitening effect and freckles-improvement effect without side effects when applied on human skin. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of Notoginseng Radix, Cucumis melo, Dendrobii Herba extracts is comprised of: chopping Notoginseng Radix, Cucumis melo, Dendrobii Herba as fine as possible, and extracting in an extractor at 50-100deg.C for 1-5hrs with primary alcohol, ethyl acetate or acetone; filtering and extracting the residue with same process for more than one time; concentrating the extract under decompression, and freeze-drying or spray-drying to get dried extract. The cosmetic composition contains Notoginseng Radix, Cucumis melo and Dendrobii Herba extract 0.0001-10.0wt., desirably 0.0005-10.0wt., which can be prepared in the form of ointments for skin, or cosmetics such as lotions.</p> |
