<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for forming coating film having a gradient composition useful for applications such as coatings, self-adhesives and adhesives. <P>SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises a resin (A), a resin (B) and a solvent (C), where the solution consisting of the resin (A), the resin (B) and the solvent (C) is transparent and homogeneous; the difference in the surface tension between the resin (A) and the resin (B) is 3-20 dyn/cm; the solvent (C) is a single solvent (C-1) having a difference in the solubility parameter of at most 2 from each of the resin (A) and resin (B), or a mixed solvent (C-2) containing a solvent (i) having a difference in the solubility parameter of at most 1 from the resin (A) and a solvent (ii) having a difference in the solubility parameter of at most 1 from the resin (B); and the compositional ratio of the resin (A) and the resin (B) in the dry coating film formed changes continuously from the film surface in the depth direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
