The assembly (1) has unlocking units (15) with a knob (16) that is rotatively mounted around an axis of rotation (B) and includes two activation surfaces (17, 18). The knob is arranged such that the activation in rotation of one of the surfaces causes unlocking of reversible locking units (11) of a cover (4) on a secondary case and the unlocking of reversible locking units (7) of the secondary case on a main case, respectively. An independent claim is also included for an armrest having a storage assembly.
