The warning light has button lights with two windows including light emitting diodes. A push button is pressed by a pedestrian to activate the warning light, before he passes a pedestrian crossing. The button lights successively switch on from left to right or vice versa based on a direction of passage of the pedestrian on the crossing. A braille reader indicating direction to be taken for passing the crossing is provided on the button.
