The device has an alternator (9) with a rotor integrated with an axle (16) projecting on both sides of transversal walls of a case. Free ends of the axle have male flanges (17) cooperating with female flanges (18) integrated to an output shaft (19) of a engine (8) and an input shaft (20) of a compressor (10), respectively. The engine and compressor are positioned on both sides of the alternator such that the shafts and axle are coaxial.
