The theatre has balconies placed in front of a flat screen to seat spectators. A projection room has a projector with lens in front of which a polarizing filter is placed. The right and left eye images are selected by alternation on a 3D film via the filter. A camera has an exposure window in front of which two small mirrors are placed. A double sided rotating mirror placed between the small mirrors selects the images by alternation. The filter is placed in horizontal polarization to filter the images for the right eye and in vertical polarization for the left eye. The images from the small mirrors are projected on a negative by the intermediate double sided rotating mirror. The filter rotates at the rate of quarter turn per projected image, and the double sided mirror rotates at the rate of quarter turn per exposed image.
