Calibration device has a dilution zero gas circuit (4) connected to a dilution zero gas source, and a sampling gas circuit (3) connected to a sampling gas source (7). A mixing pipe (6) is connected to the circuits and to a gas analyzer (2). A selection unit (5) selecting a sampling gas dilution ratio is traversed by the circuits, and has calibrated units for passage of gas, where section of passage of the units traversed by the gas is constant. An independent claim is also included for a process of calibrating a gas analyzer.
