<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to easily recognize approach of an obstacle and to be guided to a destination by a car navigation system without turning the driver's eyes from the front, and to prevent warning in a case that the driver recognizes the approach of the obstacle or the guidance to the destination. <P>SOLUTION: This warning device for vehicle comprises an obstacle sensor detecting approach of an obstacle to a vehicle, tactile information transmitting means transmitting tactile information to the driver based on the information of the sensor, a control part controlling the drive of the tactile information transmitting means. The tactile information transmitting means are provided at the front and rear and at the right and left of a driver's seat. The control part controls the tactile information transmitting means based on, in addition to the information from the obstacle sensor, information from a steering handle outputting a rotating direction and a steering angle or a direction indictor outputting a right turn or left turn signal, from a brake outputting depression state of a brake pedal, and from a speedmeter outputting a traveling speed of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
