PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a recording device installed in the same casing as a storage cabinet with a cooling function. SOLUTION: This information recording and reproducing apparatus includes a recording medium having a recording face holding data, a recording device having a conversion device recording and reproducing the data, and a storage cabinet with the cooling function, in the same casing.
