PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decentralize services of a built-in system in a larger computer system. SOLUTION: The networked computer system has: the built-in application 28 which is mounted on the built-in computer 16 and provides services relating to a device; the service information 44 which is mounted on a host computer 12 and exported; and a built-in interface module 34 which is mounted on the built-in computer 16 and provides access to a subset of services through a service table 32.
