PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic monocomponent toner having good suitability to scraping by a conveying roller, capable of forming a stable thin toner layer, and capable of avoiding fogging, deterioration of following ability to a solid image in plate wear printing, and rise of the torque of a developing roller, in a nonmagnetic monocomponent developing system for developing an electrostatic image. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic monocomponent toner comprises nonmagnetic monocomponent toner particles and (A) 0.1-3 pts.wt. of titanium oxide fine particles based on 100 pts.wt. of the toner particles, wherein the titanium oxide fine particles have been surface-treated with a silicone oil and/or a silane coupling agent and have a specific surface area obtained by a BET method of 0.5-10 m<SP>2</SP>/g.
