PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoration device for an elevator tie down device capable of easily restoring a tie down operation detecting switch without entering a pit and also capable of smoothly performing rescuing operation. SOLUTION: The restoration device is designed to end output of a stop signal by restoring the tie down operation detecting switch 12 according to operating the other end part of a cable condition 16 locked near an elevator hall, which enables the device to easily restore the tie down operation detecting switch 12 without entering the pit. Accordingly, even the operation is necessary for rescuing passengers shut in an elevator at the time of operating the tie down device 10, the operation can be smoothly performed.
