PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the turbulence of a sheet in each ream by pushing out the ream to a supplying direction parallel to a basic plane, and by mounting thin small body of a packaging material by crossing in the supplying direction. SOLUTION: This is the ream 2 formed with the sheet 3 laminated such that the rectangular basic square column of a predetermined height H should be formed, it is a packaging method for packaging the ream of the sheet having two basic planes 6 formed with the sheet 3 of each end portion in the ream 2, two side faces 7 which intersect perpendicularly with the basic plane 6, and two end faces 8, and it is provided with a process for supplying the ream 2 along a predetermined course P in the supplying direction D1 parallel to each basic plane, a process for mounting the thin small body 4 of the packaging material along the predetermined course P of the ream 2 and by intersecting perpendicularly in the supplying direction D1, and a process for folding up the thin small body 4 of the packaging material into U-shaped configuration around the ream 2 by conveying through an elongated hole 67 for folding in the supplying direction D1 for supplying the ream 2 and the thin small body 4 of the packaging material.
