PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber module capable of preventing damage of a hollow fiber membrane without adhesion of a buffer board to part of a hollow fiber bundle even if a resin liquid runs up. SOLUTION: In the hollow fiber module 1, both ends of the hollow fiber bundle 5 are closed with a resin composition 10 to divide the inside of a casing 2 into a treated liquid space through which a treated liquid runs and a treating liquid space through which a treating liquid runs. A connection port as a supply port 6 or discharge port 8 of the treated liquid is formed at either end of the casing 2 to communicate with the treated liquid space, and an inlet 13 or outlet 14 of the treating liquid is formed near either end of the casing 2 to communicate with the treating liquid space. The buffle board 41 is disposed between the opening of the inlet 13 or outlet 14 and the hollow fiber bundle 5. The proximal end of the buffle board 41 is fixed to the inner surface of the casing 2 and the distal end extends toward an opening end of the casing 2. A projection 42 projecting toward the hollow fiber bundle 5 side is formed from one side to the other side in the cross direction of the buffle board 41 on the inner surface of the buffle board 41.
