RADIATION IMAGING APPARATUS AND RADIATION DETECTION SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus and a radiation detection signal processing method capable of reducing time lag and enlarging a radiation image at real time. SOLUTION: An FPD (Flat Panel X-ray Detector) comprises a plurality of switching elements arranged two-dimensionally. Predetermined rows or columns are extracted from the two-dimensional arrangement at a fixed rate (S1), and signal levels are outputted to rows/columns of pixels corresponding to the extracted rows/columns (S2 and S5). Same signal levels are then outputted to dummy rows/columns adjacent to the extracted rows/columns (S3 and S6). Enlargement of a signal level of a picxel or enlargement of a radiation image is achieved by inserting dummy rows/columns at a fixed rate on the basis of the outputs to the dummy rows/columns.
