The hanger for hanging articles on flat surfaces is made up of identical sections (1) punched from a strip and connected by separable bars (4). The sections have central tongues (2) and a connector is attached to the surface with the tongue upwards while a second connector is attached to the object with the tongue downwards. These are engaged to hold the object in position. The sections have guide arms (3) on either side which are higher than the tongues. An independent claim is included for a hanging system made up of two sections as described.
