The vehicle has a steerable axle (1) for realizing a required steering angle by an Ackermann steering (4) formed with a main steering cylinder. A steering kinematics of the Ackermann steering is modified in the area between steering links (8A, 8B) and wheel hubs of wheels based on the required angle. The steering links are attached to the wheels of the axle and the steering links are connected to wheel mounts by steering link joints.
