<p>The loading area (10) of the hearse is fitted with one or two boards (12, 13) each not as wide as a coffin, which can be moved along the floor on rollers in order to load or unload one or two coffins. A second sliding base (33), slightly wider as a coffin is attached to each of the boards (12, 13). Two legs of a coffin can be placed on top of the element (33) when the hearse is loaded.
