<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring system that facilitates identification of a cable from transmission equipment and that is also advantageous from the viewpoint of cost effectiveness and space efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical wiring system 1, an optical wiring board 10 equipped with a terminating unit 11 for terminating, for connectors, the optical fibers of a first and a second circuit 6, 8 is installed in a plurality of floors 3 inside a building 2. In these optical wiring boards 10, an optical fiber cable 9 is pulled in that connects between the optical wiring boards 10 of the different floors 3, wherein each of the optical wiring boards 10 is provided with switching optical fibers with which the optical fibers of the optical fiber cable 9 are connected, in a switchable manner, to the optical fibers of the first or the second circuit 6, 8 of the terminating unit 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
