<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize all features of illumination poles which stand together in large numbers, to utilize power supply cables pulled into the illumination poles and to use infrared communication when constructing local networks for transmitting information relating to the traffic situation to/from each other. <P>SOLUTION: A traffic information analyzer and an infrared transmitter/receiver are loaded on each of a plurality of public road facilities located on monitor roads, and signals from the analyzer are transmitted to/from each other by the infrared transmitters/receivers, or signals from the analyzers are transmitted to/from each other via the power supply cables by the communication equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
