<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiprocessor system controller for improving the performance of snoop retry, a scalable node, a scalable multiprocessor system and a multiprocessor system control method. <P>SOLUTION: This multiprocessor system controller is provided with a plurality of local ports holding data requests from an own node, a local snooping part for performing local snoop, a broadcast queue for broadcasting a request to another node when the request data can not be processed as a result of the local snoop, a plurality of global ports holding requests broadcasted from other nodes, a global snooping part for performing global snoop, and a plurality of retry mode control part 13 for switching a global retry mode and a local retry mode according to a prescribed condition in a retry instruction when the request data can not be processed as a result of the global snoop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
