PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration pattern unit which is not mis-imaged in the viewpoint of acquiring optimal calibration data, and is convenient for carrying, packaging and storage. SOLUTION: In order to acquire in advance correction information for an imaging system of an imaging means for imaging an object, the calibration pattern unit is imaged when the imaging means is put in an imaging enabled state. The calibration unit includes, on a plurality of planes arranged three-dimensionally or on one or more curved surfaces, a calibration pattern 5-2 or 5-2 in which a predetermined pattern is formed within a range having approximately the same shape as the object to be imaged by the imaging means.
