PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin composition for general lamination capable of yielding a cured product which sufficiently reduces styrene emission and is excellent in various physical properties such as toughness, durability, weather resistance, hot water resistance and mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The unsaturated polyester resin composition for general lamination contains an unsaturated polyester resin comprising 40-90 mass% unsaturated polyester and 10-60 mass% polymerizable monomer and 0.01-5 pts.mass metallic soap against 100 pts.wt. unsaturated polyester resin. The unsaturated polyester has a dicyclopentadiene skeleton content of≥20 mass%, and the polymerizable monomer comprises≥50 mass% alkyl-substituted styrene monomer against 100 mass% total monomer component.
