PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device wherein a camera is mounted on an optional position, and a guidance corresponding to the peripheral state is provided by allowing a front image photographed by the camera to agree with a 3D map. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with: a position detection means 24 for detecting the present position; a map information acquisition means 11 for acquiring 2D map data corresponding to the detected present position; an imaging means 10 for imaging the front in the azimuth wherein a moving body is traveling; a 3D map generation means 12 for generating the 3D map agreeing with the front image acquired by imaging by the imaging means by adjusting a downward angle, a magnification and a lateral direction position of a 2D map generated based on the basis of the acquired 2D map data; an image collation determination means 13 for converting the front image and the 3D map generated by the 3D map generation means into a 2D front image and the 2D map, collating them, and determining the own peripheral state; and a control means 35 for performing guidance based on the peripheral state determined by the image collation determination means.
