PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a retrieval system capable of performing retrieval of higher precision by using adjacent words. SOLUTION: In the case that a character string interposed between a preceding first free term 121 in a sentence and a second free term 122 existing apart from the first free term 121 is a set character string preliminarily selected as one associating the free terms with each other, retrieval result information showing association between these free terms, whereby contents of a document being an object of retrieval can be analyzed by retrieval result information.
