PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the crime preventability by reducing illegal locking and unlocking from a communication path between an electric lock and electric lock control panels. SOLUTION: An adapter 1 for the electric lock system comprises an adopter 2 at the control panel side and an adopter 3 at the electric lock side. The adapter 2 at the control panel side creates, retains and stores a random locking ID when a locking command is input from the electric lock control panel 4 and a lock state signal is in an unlocked state; a locking output is taken out together with the locking ID retained and stored; and an unlocking output is taken out together with the locking ID created during the locking if an unlocking command has been inputted from the electric lock control panel 4 and the lock state signal is in a locked state. The adapter 3 at the electric lock side retains and stores the locking ID from the adapter 2 at the control panel side at the time of locking and also takes out the locking output to the electric lock 5 thereby performing a locking control for the electric lock 5 and also, at the time of unlocking, it compares the locking ID sent from the adapter 2 at the control panel side with the locking ID retained and stored in the previous locking and, if both of them coincide with each other, then an unlocking output is sent thereby unlocking and controlling the electric lock 5.
