PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling properly polydispersity in the presence of a stable nitroxide free-radical and for increasing surely the rate of polymerization or co-polymerization compared with the case using other free-radicals used for conventional technologies. SOLUTION: At least one monomer is polymerized or co-polymerized through a radical path in the presence of a stable free-radical of a nitroxide which isβ-substituted with a group containing phosphorus or the like.
