PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor paste securely suppressing deterioration of emission luminance after being subjected to a firing treatment or change over time of the same. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the plasma display panel 8 comprising a discharge cell 31 in which a discharge phenomenon is induced, and a fluorescent membrane 35 exciting by the discharge phenomenon at the discharge cell 31 and emitting fluorescent light, wherein the fluorescent membrane 35 is composed of the phosphor paste. The phosphor paste comprises an inorganic phosphor, a binder resin and a solvent, wherein the binder composition obtained by dissolving the binder resin in the solvent has 0.5×10<SP>-2</SP>to 15×10<SP>-2</SP>Nm<SP>-1</SP>of a surface tension and a contact angle of the binder composition and the inorganic phosphor is 10 to 30°.
