PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing droplets having good homogeneousness, by efficiently propagating a pressure wave given by a vibrating partition wall to orifices. SOLUTION: In this apparatus for producing the droplets, a distance between the vibrating partition wall and the orifices is set so that strength of the pressure wave at the orifices is 50% or more of a peak value of intensity amplitude of the pressure wave which is propagated through a target liquid to be homogenized.
