PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound with musk fragrance without regardless of conventional fragrant composition, and to provide a method of improving or enhancing fragrance of a fragrant product in which animal dynamism, diffusivity, continuousness and/or naturalness of fragrance are intensified. SOLUTION: The fragrant composition, which contains a new compound 2,3-epoxycyclopentadecen-1-one as a fragrance-emitting component, has perfectly new type of musk fragrance in which dynamism, diffusivity and/or naturalness is remarkably intensified. Furthermore, the method of improving or enhancing fragrance of the fragrant product is provided, in which richness, animal dynamism, diffusivity, continuousness, sweetness and/or naturalness of fragrance are intensified.
