PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant cushioning material for a press, which has excellent cushioning properties, a reduced permanent compression strain, and improved durability. SOLUTION: A heat-resistant cushioning material 1 for a press is used between a hot press platen and a molding. The material 1 is a laminated material, in whose surface layer 3 a heat-resistant fiber member 2 of cloth treated with a heat-resistant resin is arranged, in whose intermediate layer 6 a doubly woven cloth 5 using, as a main fiber, a high-strength and high-elasticity fiber subjected to crimping to enhance bulkiness is arranged, and between whose surface layer 3 and intermediate layer 6 a rubber layer 7 consisting of fluororubber is interposed.
