<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver for constantly maintaining and increasing the quantity of movement of a driven member. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage actuator 26 comprises a drive shaft 40 for frictionally engaging with a slide-fitting section 44 of a lens barrel 9, first and second piezoelectric elements 27a, 27b extended and contracted, in response to drive pulses, and a frame member 41 for holding the first and second piezoelectric elements 27a, 27b. The drive pulses are applied from a drive pulse generating circuit to the first and second piezoelectric elements 27a, 27b. The first piezoelectric element 27a is fixed to one end of the drive shaft 40. The second piezoelectric element 27b is fixed to the other end of the drive shaft 40. The lens barrel 9 is moved by a large quantity of the fixed movement in the axial direction, since the first and second piezoelectric elements 27a, 27b repeat a high-speed displacement and a low-speed displacement in the axial direction of the drive shaft 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
